Well, I'm done. What started out as a way to say "Get off your ass and make something!" has, like most ideas of this sort, taken on a life of its own.

When I started this project last November I didn't think I'd be so changed by the experience and I certainly never thought it would also be a record of my father's illness and death. I think that years later I'll be very glad that such a record exists. To be perfectly honest, I'd say that this is the best thing I've ever done. Not the work necessarily, but certainly the scope and the shear quantity of it. At least some of it HAS to be good just by chance! <grin>

List of my favorites

But change being the only constant, it's time to move onto something new and different.

I don't want to lose all of you in the process, so before you read any further, just email me and let me know that you'd like to be added to my mailing list.

Confession:
While I liked the idea of doing something new every day, it didn't allow much room for refinement or polish, or for ideas which were bigger than a day could handle. So, I'm starting a new project next week wherein I do something bigger that gets posted once a week. The 52 Project is in many ways more ambitious and will certainly involve more people. Some of the ideas I've got in mind include:

-Short Films
-Short Stories
-Larger photographic collections based on a subject
-More cheesy pop songs, but where I take my time on the writing and playing and singing.. and where the lyrics don't suck so badly. Bringing in great musicians to play what I can't.
-Longer instrumental pieces, more orchestral arrangements
-Other ideas are welcome...

How I go about this is the question. Should I just post the finished product on the same day every week? With none of the process shown? Or should I keep a diary of progress made throughout the week, a behind the scenes journal of the journey?
What I do know is they will be posted at http://www.billwadman.com/52

If anyone has any thoughts on the now completed 365 project, or any ideas about the format of the 52 project, I would love to hear from you.

Thank you very much for sticking with me all year.
