"Now You're Not Here "

Here we are, re-hanging a lifetime worth of memories so far
And I can see this mystery you must of left for me
What are we left to find, now you’re not here?

Now I see, the colored flags are all you had and I hope you will agree
That time will tell, how quickly we each will say farewell
What are we left to find, now you’re not here?

Here, left with your promises, all broken in our minds
We’ve got to let our sadness fall aside

So one more time, we’re overwhelmed with visions both terrifying and sublime
Please let me know,  just some of the pride you rarely showed
